"Gloomy Marie" explores the whimsical and slightly dark relationship between a young girl and her imaginary friend, Bakoucha. This gallery demonstrates my versatility in character and animal design, as well as my experience with the Yonkoma (4-panel comic) format. Through book cover concepts and sequential art, I focus on expressive acting and the atmospheric storytelling required for children's books and graphic novels.
